Royal Lancaster Infirmary is the hospital local teams work alongside, and the homes and services around Morecambe and Skerton draw staff from the same pool. Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust runs services locally, with Lancashire County Council commissioning the social care alongside them.
Most placements are in Morecambe, Heysham and Skerton, with regular work further out at Bowerham, Scotforth and Marsh. Postings run through LA1, LA2 and LA3, including out at Halton.

Hours, shifts and contracts
Days, nights and weekends are all available, full time or part time. Someone covering Scotforth on earlies and Marsh on nights is an ordinary week here. The aim is ongoing work in settings you already know, not a different address every week between Morecambe and Freehold.
Some people stay on agency indefinitely; others use a few months around Skerton to find the right permanent home. Both are fine.
