Work comes up near Marylebone, Mayfair and Soho, much of it within reach of St Mary's Hospital. Between Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Westminster City Council, most of what we staff around Fitzrovia sits under one of the two.
Shifts land right across the patch: Marylebone, Mayfair and Soho one week, Fitzrovia, Pimlico and Belgravia the next. If you are based around W1 or W2, you are inside the area we cover most heavily.
What you would be doing
- ✓ Reporting changes and keeping clear records
- ✓ Helping people wash, dress and stay comfortable
- ✓ Supporting with meals, drinks and nutrition
- ✓ Assisting with mobility and safe moving and handling
- ✓ Taking and recording clinical observations under supervision
- ✓ Companionship, conversation and keeping people connected
Shifts, and how they are booked
Full-time and part-time patterns both work. If Belgravia is easier for you to reach than Victoria, say so and the rota follows it. Once you are established we keep the work regular rather than sporadic, usually in the same two or three services around Victoria.
We recruit for temporary and permanent posts. Trying several settings between Marylebone and Fitzrovia first tends to make the permanent choice obvious.

What we do for you
We are a two-office team, not a call centre. The person booking your London shifts knows which settings suit you. We recruit from our offices in Edgware and Bournemouth and place people nationwide; there is no branch in Westminster itself, which we would rather say plainly.
If you can travel, there is steady work in Southwark, Lambeth and Camden as well, and many people cover two of those alongside Westminster.
