Most placements are in Attleborough, Stockingford and Chilvers Coton, with regular work further out at Weddington, Camp Hill and Galley Common. Postings run through CV10 and CV11, including out at Bermuda.
What the role involves
- ✓ Working alongside GPs, district nurses and multidisciplinary teams
- ✓ Supporting and supervising care and support staff on shift
- ✓ Accurate record keeping and handover
- ✓ Assessing, planning and reviewing care for the people you look after
- ✓ Medication administration and clinical observations
- ✓ Wound care, catheter care and other clinical tasks within your competence
Hours, shifts and contracts
Days, nights and weekends are all available, full time or part time. Someone covering Camp Hill on earlies and Galley Common on nights is an ordinary week here. The aim is ongoing work in settings you already know, not a different address every week between Attleborough and Whitestone.
Some people stay on agency indefinitely; others use a few months around Chilvers Coton to find the right permanent home. Both are fine.
