What you would be doing
- ✓ Clear record keeping and handover between shifts
- ✓ Personal care, washing, dressing and continence support
- ✓ Supporting residents at mealtimes and with nutrition
- ✓ Mobility support and safe moving and handling
- ✓ Medication support appropriate to your role and training
- ✓ Activities, companionship and keeping families informed
Shifts, and how they are booked
Full-time and part-time patterns both work. If Wollescote is easier for you to reach than Lye, say so and the rota follows it. Once you are established we keep the work regular rather than sporadic, usually in the same two or three services around Lye.
We recruit for temporary and permanent posts. Trying several settings between Oldswinford and Amblecote first tends to make the permanent choice obvious.

What we do for you
We are a two-office team, not a call centre. The person booking your West Midlands shifts knows which settings suit you. We recruit from our offices in Edgware and Bournemouth and place people nationwide; there is no branch in Stourbridge itself, which we would rather say plainly.
If you can travel, there is steady work in Dudley, Kidderminster and West Bromwich as well, and many people cover two of those alongside Stourbridge.
