Working around Cardiff
Work comes up near Llandaff, Heath and Cyncoed, much of it within reach of University Hospital. Between Vale University Health Board and Cardiff Council, most of what we staff around Penylan sits under one of the two.
Shifts land right across the patch: Llandaff, Heath and Cyncoed one week, Penylan, Whitchurch and Rhiwbina the next. If you are based around CF10 or CF24, you are inside the area we cover most heavily.
A typical shift

- ✓ Medication support appropriate to your role and training

- ✓ Clear record keeping and handover between shifts

- ✓ Supporting residents at mealtimes and with nutrition
Shifts and contracts
Full-time and part-time patterns both work. If Rhiwbina is easier for you to reach than Llanishen, say so and the rota follows it. Once you are established we keep the work regular rather than sporadic, usually in the same two or three services around Llanishen.
We recruit for temporary and permanent posts. Trying several settings between Llandaff and Penylan first tends to make the permanent choice obvious.

How we work with you
We are a two-office team, not a call centre. The person booking your South Wales shifts knows which settings suit you. We recruit from our offices in Edgware and Bournemouth and place people nationwide; there is no branch in Cardiff itself, which we would rather say plainly.
If you can travel, there is steady work in Barry, Caerphilly and Newport as well, and many people cover two of those alongside Cardiff.
