Shifts land right across the patch: Walthamstow, Leyton and Leytonstone one week, Chingford, Highams Park and Wood Street the next. If you are based around E17 or E11, you are inside the area we cover most heavily.
The job day to day
- ✓ Supporting people to access work, education, activities and their community
- ✓ Positive behaviour support and de-escalation, with training provided
- ✓ Medication prompting and support appropriate to your training
- ✓ Accurate notes and clear communication with the wider team
- ✓ Supporting people with daily routines and personal care where needed
- ✓ Encouraging independence, choice and everyday decision making
When you would work
Full-time and part-time patterns both work. If Wood Street is easier for you to reach than Higham Hill, say so and the rota follows it. Once you are established we keep the work regular rather than sporadic, usually in the same two or three services around Higham Hill.
We recruit for temporary and permanent posts. Trying several settings between Walthamstow and Chingford first tends to make the permanent choice obvious.

We are a two-office team, not a call centre. The person booking your London shifts knows which settings suit you. We recruit from our offices in Edgware and Bournemouth and place people nationwide; there is no branch in Waltham Forest itself, which we would rather say plainly.
