Where the work is in Stirling
Work comes up near Bannockburn, St Ninians and Bridge of Allan, much of it within reach of Forth Valley Royal Hospital. Between Scotland and Stirling Council, most of what we staff around Dunblane sits under one of the two.
Shifts land right across the patch: Bannockburn, St Ninians and Bridge of Allan one week, Dunblane, Raploch and Cornton the next. If you are based around FK7 or FK8, you are inside the area we cover most heavily.
The job day to day
- ✓ Supporting people to access work, education, activities and their community
- ✓ Positive behaviour support and de-escalation, with training provided
- ✓ Medication prompting and support appropriate to your training
- ✓ Accurate notes and clear communication with the wider team
- ✓ Supporting people with daily routines and personal care where needed
- ✓ Encouraging independence, choice and everyday decision making
When you would work
Full-time and part-time patterns both work. If Cornton is easier for you to reach than Cambusbarron, say so and the rota follows it. Once you are established we keep the work regular rather than sporadic, usually in the same two or three services around Cambusbarron.
We recruit for temporary and permanent posts. Trying several settings between Bannockburn and Dunblane first tends to make the permanent choice obvious.

Working with Protocol
We are a two-office team, not a call centre. The person booking your Scotland shifts knows which settings suit you. We recruit from our offices in Edgware and Bournemouth and place people nationwide; there is no branch in Stirling itself, which we would rather say plainly.
If you can travel, there is steady work in Falkirk, Cumbernauld and Dunfermline as well, and many people cover two of those alongside Stirling.
