Many of the people we support want to stay close to familiar places, whether that is a gentle stroll along Weymouth Beach and the Esplanade, a morning at the harbourside on Custom House Quay, a walk up to the Nothe Fort and gardens, or a trip to the shops on St Mary Street and St Thomas Street. We regularly support people coming home from Weymouth Community Hospital, run by Dorset HealthCare University NHS Foundation Trust, as well as those discharged from Dorset County Hospital in Dorchester, the main acute hospital for the area, run by Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Getting the first few weeks at home right matters, so we help with medication routines, mobility and rehabilitation support after a hospital stay, and we keep in close contact with families, GPs and district nurses to spot any problems early.

Adult social care in the town is overseen by Dorset Council, the unitary authority for the area.
